THE ICENTRIC AGENCY 2016
GFC Media Group is a multi-platform media business offering marketing and business development services and improving connectivity of local emerging markets with international markets. GFC is creating communities and allowing them to exchange ideas and network by organizing conferences, presenting awards for excellence and providing an online market intelligence platform.
Our goal was to join and show both media and conference sides of the business rather than just focusing on one.
Flat design style, full width images and brighter colour palette were used in order to reflect changes in the company and make the website feel less corporate. Small animations and transitions were introduced throughout the website to make it more interactive.

Fashion Fix is a free event hosted at Exchange Ilford, where the latest products and offers from Spring/ Summer 2016 collections will be showcased.
As an introduction to new trends client asked to create an A5 brochure that could be handed out during the event. For the design I decided to use soft colours that would be similar to Exchanges website as well as angular shapes and circles to make it look more engaging.

Manchester Arndale is the largest of a chain of Arndale Centers built across the UK in the 1960s and 1970s. Located right in the heart of the Manchester, it features over 200 shops and has hundreds of high street brands, restaurants, cafés and fast food outlets located in and around the centre to accommodate hungry shoppers.
As the spring was approaching Manchester Arndale wanted to renew their website look and bring it closer to current trends without changing too much.
During the project website layout was slightly changed and made more boxy and grid like. All gradients were removed and elements were flattened out or recreated. Boring grey background was changed with pastel coloured gradient, that was supposed to slightly change its colour depending on the season. Images of the models showcasing new Spring/Summer colection were introduced on some of the pages throughout the website in order to make it feel wider and more interactive.

Eat Street is a two day street food event held at Festival Place Shopping centre in Basingstoke. Event offers loads of free food to taste, great entertainment and a change to meet a celebrity chef!
I was asked to design promotional imagery for use on shopping centre'swebsite, event/offer pages, email for members of Festival Reward scheme, web banners, large format posters and small informational brochures.
Colours were chose due to their positiveness, friendliness and energy. Yellow - uplifting, cheerful and considered to be most visible colour. Orange - warm, inviting and is believed to stimulate appetite and social interaction. I wanted overall design to be simple, but able to capture attention. Focus was put on the chef by placing his photo into the middle of the plate, which would be swaped with events message if short of space.

The brief was to create a community report for a Footscray area - suburb in Melbourne, Australia. Report was to be used by local government, educational institutions and trade organizations. My intention was to make report clean, modern and a little edgy. I wanted info-graphics to look simple, yet engaging by introducing textures from the photos used in other pages of the report.
