Manchester Arndale is the largest of a chain of Arndale Centers built across the UK in the 1960s and 1970s. Located right in the heart of the Manchester, it features over 200 shops and has hundreds of high street brands, restaurants, cafés and fast food outlets located in and around the centre to accommodate hungry shoppers.
CONNECT IB 2014
As the spring was approaching Manchester Arndale wanted to renew their website look and bring it closer to current trends without changing too much.
Boring grey background was changed with pastel coloured gradients, that were supposed to change their colours depending on the season. Images of the models were introduced on some of the pages throughout the website in order to make it feel wider and more interactive by showcasing items from new collections.
Layout of the website was slightly changed and made more boxy and grid like.
New Manchester Style Hunter and Manchester Arndale Trends pages were added to the website, where centre's stylist Debs introduces new looks as well as finds similar items available at the centre from user images uploaded to Instagram.
All icons were flattened or recreated to be in line with the new look of the website.
